Last fall I swiped an excellent idea from the Junior High. To highlight reading as something grownups do for fun (not just in school), JH teachers are displaying covers of their current reads outside their classrooms. What a great idea (and stylish too)! So the library's color laser printer and I created "What I'm Reading" display packets and invited all the High School teachers to join in. When one book is finished, I print and deliver a cover image of the next one being read. The idea is catching on, as every couple of weeks or so another teacher asks to join in.
A walk around the high school buildings last week turned up the following current displays.
What will you be caught reading in February??
